What does Device Care include?

With Device Care, your mobile device is eligible for the following service repairs: Cracked screen (front only) Device Battery*; Device buttons and Device Charging Port.

* Battery maximum health capacity must be <75%

If our repair service network can’t fix your device, we’ll provide you with $129 for the inconvenience of having to find your own repair service or to use toward the purchase of a working device. Afterward, you’ll need to visit the “My Account” page to provide details for your fixed or new device. Your device will also need to pass a diagnostic test to ensure that it’s in working condition.

The diagnostic tool is used to confirm that your phone is in good shape and eligible for repairs. A series of tests will be performed on your phone to verify its condition, along with verifying the device make, model and unique IMEI. The tool may test the pixels and touch screen. You’ll need a mirror to complete some tests. The full test should take less than a minute.

How do I register?

Registering is quick and easy! Just follow the link in your registration email. Your device will need a quick diagnostic test to make sure it’s eligible.

Are there any repair limits?

There’a limit of two repairs each 12 months beginning on the Program Start Data for front-screen cracks, battery*, device buttons and device charging port. Certain requirements apply.

* Battery maximum health capacity must be <75%

How do I start a repair request?

Starting a repair request is easy. Just log in to your account. Be sure to have your device make and model info handy. You must submit the request within 30 days of the discovery of the issue or incident.

Once the repair request is submitted, it’ll be reviewed to determine eligibility. If the request is approved, you’ll receive an email with instructions to schedule a repair.

What happens if I switch my phone?

If you switch your device, you’ll need to log in to your account to update your device information in the My Account page. Your device will need a quick diagnostic test to ensure that it’s in working condition and eligible for repairs.
